Seriously, no lie.
I was looking out the window as the phone was on the windowsill (on speakerphone) and she said to me: "You should start a blog. You love to write!"
Ehhhh, I said to my mom as I wrinkled my nose and tucked back a loose strand of hair, I don't really know about that.
I read a lot of these 'blogs' and websites with their reviews and editorial columns and I'm taken aback by what I read- in both a good and a bad way. Some of these blogs are down right ridiculous, with people inciting hateful talk- whether on Government policies or something as menial as a video game. Others have these really wonderful stories about experiences, lifestyles, or movies. So I thought back to that conversation with my mother about two weeks ago and said to myself: Yeah, why not?
All it boils down to is an opinion, and my ability to write. I'm kinda rusty in that last department, but I can always see this as an exercise.
So here's to posting, and hoping I amass a ton of haters, à la Jim Sterling. Oh! Just kidding.
